Wine, Women & Shopping provides more than 465 women
with a unique opportunity to celebrate sisterhood…and help
support My Sister’s Place in the process. And we’re asking
for your support.
WWS was held Thursday, November
19,
2009 at the
Hellenic Centre, Southdale Road, London. This spectacular
event included a fabulous Greek dinner, wine sampling, door
prizes and giveaways and of course, extraordinary shopping
with one of a kind vendors selling distinct wares. Proceeds from this
fundraiser go to support
My Sister’s Place.
In
the past three years, we have sold out well in advance and many
were disappointed they could not get a ticket. In 2009,
nearly 500 women enjoyed a fabulous evening
while celebrating sisterhood...and to date, we have donated
close to
$35,000.00 to this worthy cause.
As
you may be aware, My Sisters’ Place is a transitional support
centre for women who are homeless or at risk of
homelessness…and is in desperate need of financial support.
The women who use this facility can relax, socialize, have a
hot meal, participate in programs, access resources, connect
with each other, and simply, feel safe.
Many community businesses are working to keep this haven open
and it continues to receive vast media attention. If you
would like to help celebrate sisterhood by sponsoring Wine,

Cash Donations
Help us to create a memorable event so we can donate more to
My Sister’s Place. Your donation will help offset
expenses, such as printing, advertising, and
other related fees. All sponsors will be listed on this Web
site and in our program available at the event.
Door Prizes
All door prizes will have a minimum value of $50.00.
Sponsors will be mentioned at the podium with a brief
business description.
Bag Sampling
If you'd like to include "a little something" into
our goodie bag, let us know. The cost is only $75.00
and every attendee gets one. We need 480 pieces.
Paper items (brochures, business cards) are only allowed if
attached to an item).
